I want to give a recommendation to the mobile Bible program called, Olive Tree. Depending on my time, I will see if I can reach out to them to do a full interview with them.

There are many things about this program that I really love, especially the ease in which it works on mobile devices. As such, one of the sides of this program is their reading and study programs.

Having just finished one called, Your Call To Holiness, I wanted to post up the Scripture references.

Often times a devotional has one or two verses and then it expounds upon those verses. That is not bad, as long as the one who is writing is solid in his hermenutics. However, there are many "devotionals" that are so watered down you wonder if the Christian life is really a war between the flesh and the Spirit (Galatians 5:17-25), or if it is a Cotton Candy ball that we can just jump into and feel happy and gleeful every moment of our lives.

This app, thus far, in the devotionals, gives us just pure Scripture. No commentary. No personal anacdotes. No additions. Just the reader, God's Word, and His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is then free to work without being surger laced to try and soften the tone or to temper the stark reality of how we are to walk as Christians.

And is this not what we should desire, to walk in Holiness (1 Peter 1:16)? I would hope so. So without further ado, here are the passages. Let us read and let the Holy Spirit conform us to His image, not our own personal interpretation of what His image is in our mind.
