It has been told time and again what the first Thanksgiving was about. Our Historical Revisionists will, undoubtedly, try to make Thanksgiving out for something that it is not (and I am not hiding any of the Historical facts that occurd afterward) or to destroy any nothing of its true meaning (the world is at war with anything that has to do with God).

Thanksgiving was the time when the early settlers gave thanks to God for providing for them in this new land and for sustaining them. As we all gather together, there is so much going on, it is often hard at times to be thankful. With the break neck jump from Halloween to Christmas, it is almost like the point of being thankful and content is trying t be erased. I guess there is no money involved when we sit back and we are thankful for what we have. 

This year, join with family and friends. Spend time with each other. Be thankful for the fact that God is still on the throne. Even when things are hard, He still provides. And He is the one who will sustain us through both the good and bad times.
